SciFest: Play and Creativity Expo

August 13th 9am-4pm

We are looking for volunteers to join us and help host our table, facilitate activities and connect with other STEM enthusiasts in our community. SciFest is a series of expos designed to connect families and visitors of all ages with experts and professionals in Science, Engineering, Technology, and Math. Ferguson Ecology Fair

August 20th 8am-12pm

Come hang out with us at the Ferguson Ecology Fair at the Farmers Market! Friends of the Rainforest is signed up for two additional Saturdays this month, and we'd love to have company while we interact with the market goers! Come facilitate an activity for the kids and share information about our programs! Email sophie@friendsoftherainforest.org if you're interested!

Administrative Volunteer

Friends of the Rainforest is looking for volunteers who would like to assist with day-to-day office operations. This role can be suited to your skills and goals, and the schedule can be as flexible as you need. A great way for high school or college students to build up their resumes, or just a nice way to spend some of your free time!

Educator Volunteer

Ongoing 

This volunteer opportunity is for Thursdays and Fridays during the school year, with opportunities over the Summer.  Volunteers will learn about rainforest ecology and co-teach virtual or in-person lessons for local schools alongside Friends of the Rainforest staff. Lesson topics include tropical birds, plants and insects, cultural history, and sustainability.
