Rockwood students shine a spotlight on the rainforest

Three Lafayette High students shined a bright light on the endangered rainforest while completing a summative project in Caralyn Harmon’s Spanish III class. Students chose Friends of the Rainforest [FOTR], a nonprofit based out of Ballwin that supports the rainforest in Costa Rica. Read More

Friends of the Rainforest is committed to our mission of inspiring kids and adults to protect and preserve the Rainforest in Costa Rica and beyond.

 

We provide free environmental education to schools in the St. Louis area, conservation grants to organizations working directly with the Rainforest, and organize EcoTours to bring students and adults to the Rainforest for on-the-ground study and exploration.
